Union Magdalena secured promotion to the Colombian second division with a highly controversial goal

Juan Cuadrado has led the complaints over a highly controversial goal which was scored in a Colombian third division promotion clash. Union Magdalena secured promotion to the second tier on Saturday after scoring two goals in stoppage time to come from behind against Llaneros. However, the second goal has sparked controversey as footage appears to show players from Llaneros backing away and allowing Magdalena to score an easy winner and confirm promotion to the second division. A defender can be seen allowing a Magdalena attacker to breeze past before the goalkeeper rushes from his line and shows no real attempt at trying to get back and defend the goal - enabling the forward to roll the ball home with ease. Cuadrado, who plays for Juventus and has made 106 appearances for his native Colombia, took to Twitter to express his shock at the goal, describing it as a 'lack of respect.' Local PFA wrote: “We ask disciplinary commission of the @Dimayor to carry out a rigorous investigation ASAP.”  As per the MailOnline, neither of the two clubs involved initially made a comment, however the winners of the game, Union Magdalena tweeted that the result was for 'those who think anything is possible'.
