Japan's football kits have always been a cut above the rest. Unlike many other nations' outfits, who nearly always play it safe with tried and tested design, the Land of the Rising Sun likes to mix it up a bit. Their home kits in particular tends to be a combination of experimental design and iconic style. Here are just a few examples:
But for their new away kit, Japan has gone minimalist in a big way - and we're loving it. Gone are the flourishes of colour, intricate motifs and decorative graphic patterns. Instead we have perhaps the most pristine, minimalist football kit on the market. These images courtesy of the wonderful people at Footy Headlines show the new jersey in all its glory.
