Ex-Norwich striker Grant Holt is set to become a professional wrestler

Professional football and professional wrestling may not seem like careers which are easily interchangeable, but that hasn't stopped the likes of Tim Wiese - who retired in 2014 and subsequently fought for the WWE in 2016 - hanging up his boots and putting on his shockingly tight spandex pants. Now it would appear that Norwich City legend Grant Holt will follow in those footsteps and enter the ring for the World Association of Wrestling, after the wrestling promotion confirmed as such on their Twitter account today. The Norwich-based promotion announced that Holt would take part at "Fightmare 3" in 2019, but it has reportedly been hinted that he may make a more low key appearance soon.
