Everton fans set fireworks off outside Chelsea team hotel ahead of crucial clash

Everton fans are doing anything they can to help out

In an attempt to help their team out in any way possible, a group of Everton fans set off fireworks outside the Chelsea team hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Toffees face Thomas Tuchel's side in a crucial game in their bid to avoid relegation, with Everton currently five points behind Burnley and Leeds United, however they do have two games in hand. Chelsea meanwhile are pretty much assured of a place in the top four but will want to put a further dent in Everton's hopes of survival. Lampard insists they will do everything they can to avoid the drop

Despite their poor campaign, home form under Lampard has improved somewhat. The Toffees have taken seven points from their last three home games under the former Chelsea star, however Chelsea's away form is also excellent - winning eight and drawing one of their last nine games on the road. Ahead of the fixture, Lampard insisted that he and his team will do everything possible to ensure Everton avoid the drop.
