David Coote suspended by PGMOL with immediate effect

A PGMOL statement has been issued.
The PGMOL have suspended David Coote after a video circulating social media appeared to show the Premier League referee making choice remarks towards Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.
The video, appearing to show Coote, has gone viral quickly since surfacing on X and Reddit.
It is not known when the video was recorded, or the context of the video.
A statement has since been released by the PGMOL:
"David Coote has been suspended with immediate effect pending a full investigation. PGMOL will be making no further comment until that process is complete."
