Liverpool are reportedly prepared to let Sturridge leave on loan if they receive a fee, but they would prefer a permanent deal this month, and feel that, despite his fitness and injury issues in recent seasons, he's worth £30m in the current transfer market. Reports in Italy claim that Inter want to sign the striker on loan for the rest of the season, and then potentially sign him on a permanent deal in the summer. West Ham could have room in their squad for the player if Andy Carroll's transfer to Chelsea goes through, or if they can sell Javier Hernandez this month.
The former Manchester City striker is arguably among the best finishers in the Premier League, but he has had a difficult couple of seasons at Anfield. From the time he joined the club in January 2013, to the end of the 2013/14 season, Sturridge scored an impressive 35 goals. However, since then, he has scored only 28 goals. He's too talented to sit on Liverpool's bench, and it's probably the right time for him to make a move away from the club.
