Bernardo Silva has revealed which club he would like to join when he leaves Manchester City.
Silva joined the Treble winners six years ago from Monaco and has since gone on to establish himself as one of Pep Guardiola's most important players.
During his time at the Etihad Stadium the winger has been linked with moves away. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are two of the clubs who were heavily interested.
Despite that, the Portugal international signed a new deal until 2026 which contains a release clause of £50m that can be activated next summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
But when asked which club he could see himself at after Man City, Silva revealed that he would love to return to Benfica.
The Portuguese side were the team Silva grew up playing for however he only made three appearances for the first team before being sold to Monaco.
Asked about the possibility of returning, he told RTP, via CNN: "If at the time the club wants me, obviously things will happen."
While Benfica is an attractive proposition, there were two clubs that the 29-year-old said he wouldn't join under any consideration.
Unsurprisingly it's Benfica's two rivals, Porto and Sporting CP, with Silva saying he is "incapable" of playing for their arch enemies.
