As of yet, there has been no set date on when the imposed restrictions in Bavaria will come to an end but it is almost certain that Bayern's game against Mainz three days after their game against Barcelona will also be played without supporters.
Bavaria isn't the only state to play games behind closed doors. Manchester City will also be affected next week when they travel to play RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
The state of Saxony, which currently has the highest infection rates in the country, was the first in Germany to stop supporters attending games.
