Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson blames hack for offensive Dele Alli tweet

These damn social media accounts are so easy to hack these days.

It was a bad night for Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday as they crashed out of the Champions League thanks to a masterclass in snatch-and-grab from Juventus. Social media was awash with Arsenal fans reveling in their rivals misfortune, though it appears that some of the Gunners may also have enjoyed the spectacle just as much. Quoting a tweet which asked followers to describe Spurs attacker Dele Alli in three words, Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson appeared to get caught up in the momentous feeling and decided that the three most suitable words he could think of were "Suck my d*ck". As is usually the case in scenarios such as this, the tweet was quickly deleted (but not before it was saved and posted by thousands of fellow users) and Nelson quickly apologised for any offence caused by it. He also revealed that it wasn't in fact he who had posted the tweet, which he claimed was the work of a hacker who appears to dislike Tottenham just as much as him.
