But the nostalgia for that era at Adidas HQ clearly doesn't stop there. The German sports manufacturers have gone full retro by revamping the famous home kit worn by West Germany (before reunification) on their way to glory of Maradona's Argentina in the Rome final.
The new kit includes the iconic red, yellow and black zigzag design borrowing from the nation's flag, whilst the neckline, retro trefoil adidas logo, and even the numbering harks back to the early 90s era.
