A football injury analyst has issued a post on Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury against Aston Villa at first glance.
Starting the game on the front foot, Liverpool took the lead in the 20th minute, courtesy of a clinical Darwin Nunez finish in front of the Kop.
However, the Reds were dealt with a fresh blow only five minutes later as full-back Alexander-Arnold became injured and was subsequently taken off for Conor Bradley.
And now a well renowned injury analysis account has provided an early report on the injury:
"Trent has been subbed off with an injury to his right hamstring.
"It's not yet clear when it happened or how, but usually hamstring injuries happens in sprinting, but the live footage didn't help much.
"In the video, you can see Trent pointing to his right hamstring and it was clear by both Trent and the physios that he was unable to continue.
"Usually mild hamstring injuries take 2-3 weeks which would result in Trent NOT able to play Southampton away next GW.
"If more severe we are looking at 4-6 weeks, and best case scenario is tightness, but I doubt that.
"My early prediction is that Trent is out next GW. I will keep you updated when more footage is available for analysis."
Liverpool went into the half-time break leading Villa 1-0.
