Wayne Rooney fulfilled his dream of representing Everton in Europe on Thursday night.

Although Wayne Rooney's performance wasn't exactly the stuff of nightmares, he didn't contribute a whole lot to Everton's drab 1-0 win over Ruzomberok in the third qualifying round of the Europa League. The Toffees got the job done, albeit not in a very convincing fashion and Rooney didn't look particularly sharp in the game. Less than 10 minutes later, Rooney had his 'best' chance of the game, an ambitious effort from 30 yards out that was as a wayward as they come.
