An absolute bargain

Fans of EA Sports’ FIFA game series in India were treated to a bargain after they were reportedly able to purchase FIFA 23 for just $0.06 due to a ‘pricing error.’

EA Sports released the trailer for the hotly anticipated game last week, which revealed that the Women’s Super League will be fully licensed for the first time ever.

Fans were able to pre-order the game and according to Redditthose who logged onto the digital platform Epic Games Store in India made a huge saving on their purchase.

A screenshot from one person in the thread showed a picture of their purchase, alongside the caption: “FIFA 23: Ultimate Edition’ listed for ₹4,800 which exchanges to $0.06.”

In the UK, ₹4,800 is the equivalent of £5 – which in itself is an absolute bargain. Gamers in India were able to purchase the game for the ridiculously cheap price for up to an hour, before the error was later fixed.
