A matter of days after Joe Hart had failed to keep out a Gareth Bale free-kick against Wales, the Manchester City stopper was once again at fault as Iceland took a surprise lead in Nice.
It started well enough for England. Wayne Rooney tucked away a penalty in the fourth minute and it seemed as though a place in the last eight was all but theirs.
But a minute or so later, Iceland were level. Failure to defend an Aron Gunnarsson long throw allowed Ragnar Sigurdsson to level the score.
Ah well, they were never going to score a second, were they?
Err, yes...
Joe Hart got a hand to Kolbeinn Sigþórsson's shot from the edge of the area but it wasn't enough...
