Football fans accuse Lionel Messi of trolling Neymar in latest Instagram post

Reports continue to claim that Neymar is on the brink of a world record-breaking move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain.

It was claimed earlier in the week that the French club would be willing to meet the £200m buy-out clause inserted into the Brazilian's most recent contract at Barca. Not for the first time in the last year or so, the reports breaking news of his potential transfer to France suggested Neymar had grown tired of living in the shadow of Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou and felt that a move away might be best for his development. Interestingly, all this has come only weeks after Messi agreed a new deal with the club. Tellingly, Neymar has not really said a great deal in the time since reports of a potential switch to Paris started to make waves. He has, however, shared several Instagram posts - the latest clearly suggesting he's contemplative about what lies ahead. Within hours, Lionel Messi also shared a post on his Instagram post. Perhaps coincidentally (perhaps not), Messi was adopting a similar pose in his post. The timing of such a post was a little strange, and was enough for some on social media to suggest this was Messi trolling Neymar ahead of his Barcelona departure.
