Everybody is in awe of Mo Salah as he fires Liverpool to victory, again

He's having an incredible season

He’s on fire.

Mohamed Salah fired Liverpool to victory once again this afternoon with two goals as they came back from 1-0 down to beat visitors Leicester at Anfield.

Salah’s brace against Leicester takes him up to 17 league goals already this season; incredibly impressive for a winger. He has rightly earned the plaudits of fans from across the country, even those on the opposition’s side today.

He has settled into Liverpool’s attack seamlessly, with an immediate impact. His form this season rivals that of Luis Suarez during the 2013/14 season when Liverpool almost won the Premier League.

The introduction of Salah, who failed to impress at Chelsea, had some fans sceptical, as he had only really shown his quality in Switzerland and Italy before this season. But he wasted no time in showing Mourinho and Chelsea what they threw away, and hit the ground running, scoring freely from the right wing from day one.

It goes without saying that Liverpool fans love the Egyptian winger.

Former Liverpool player Ryan Babel has also been blown away by Salah’s form.

Manchester City will probably win the title, and player of the season will probably go to Kevin de Bruyne, but it is impossible to ignore the impact that Salah has made at Anfield. Taking away some of the goalscoring burden from Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino, he has helped bring the best out of his teammates too.

This double against Leicester tops off an incredible year for the 25-year-old, who helped Egypt reach their first World Cup in 28 years earlier this year, scoring a 94th minute, match winning penalty against Congo in October.

Hats off to you, Mo.
