Wales Euro 2016 dreams are in tatters.
In the end, reaching Sunday’s final in Paris was a step too far for Chris Coleman’s side, with Portugal putting an end to their tournament with a 2-0 semi-final win in Lyon.
Naturally, it was a disappointing end to a truly incredible few weeks for the Welsh side. They may not have made the final, but the achievements of their team will live long in the memories of those that have witnessed it.
Back home in Cardiff thousands of supporters had gathered to watch their team. At full-time, despite such disappointment, Welsh supporters couldn’t hide their pride.

Having performed so well, Chris Coleman’s thoughts will now turn to qualifying for the Russian World Cup in a couple of years time.
But before that, he and his players can expect the mother of all welcome parties when they touch down back home in Cardiff later this week.
