Eva Carneiro set to make a return to football after Chelsea legal case

Eva Carneiro could be making a welcome return to football, following the her legal wrangles with Chelsea.

The former Stamford Bridge medic has lodged a claim for constructive dismissal against Chelsea, following her bust-up with manager Jose Mourinho at the start of the season. The beleaguered Chelsea manager angrily called both Carneiro and former head physio Jon Fearn 'naive' for running onto the field of play to treat Eden Hazard - even though they were ordered onto the pitch by the match official. The Evening Standard report that Championship Club Charlton Athletic are keen to get Carneiro on board to work alongside first team physio Erol Umut and club doctor John Fraser. Any appointment will have to wait until legal process has been duly completed on the outstanding cases.
