European giants express ‘serious interest’ in Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran

The Colombian striker has been dubbed the Premier League's 'super-sub' and now a huge outfit are reportedly watching.

And now, according to El Nacional, European giants Barcelona are expressing 'serious interest' in the player.

According to the source, sporting director Deco has already made contact with the club over a potential transfer for the player.

It is not yet understood whether Villa would be open to a sale of the player, however he is reportedly seen as a 'long-term successor' to Robert Lewandowski.

Duran has become an instant fans favourite at Villa Park following his exceptional performances this season and brilliant eye for goal.
