The former Man United manager could soon be back in the game.
Erik ten Hag could be set for a sensationally quick return to management after being linked with a Champions League outfit.
Ten Hag was sacked only in October by Manchester United, with the club sit in a lowly 14th place at the time – experiencing their worst ever start to a Premier League season after nine matches.
Currently enjoying a break from management in the Netherlands, Ten Hag has been pictured attending matches.
However, he could make a return to the dugout sooner than anticipated, according to Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger.
Ten Hag is reportedly a candidate to replace Marco Rose at RB Leipzig, who were hammered 5-1 by VFL Wolfsburg at the weekend.
The club also haven’t won since October 29 – since beating St Pauli in the DFB Pokal second round.
Roger Schmidt is also a prime target, having worked with sister club Red Bull Salzburg before and also Bayer Leverkusen between the years of 2014 and 2017.
