PIC: England’s new Euro 2016 kits have been unveiled and they’re certainly different

Simon Lloyd

The wait is over.

After countless ‘leaked’ images (all of which appear to have been wrong), the kits that England will wear as they march to glory at the European Championships this summer has finally been unveiled.

Obviously, the home strip is predominantly white – but the latest offering from Nike is far from the traditionally ‘safe’ England strip designs of the past.

The shirt also features light blue shade on its sleeves, with white shorts and red socks.

The away kit sticks to the usual red colour, and appears to be a similar design to the home kit. Nike have also decided to give the changed strip blue socks (is it just us that think that they’ve mixed up the socks for the home and away kits?).

The new kits, especially the home one, are certainly unlike anything we’ve ever seen before… but what are your thoughts? Are these shirts fit for the European Champions elect? Or are these the sort of things you’d expect a team that’ll be lucky to go out in a quarter final penalty shoot-out to wear?
