England devastated as West Indies win World T20 Final in dramatic final over

Absolutely devastating.

England’s cricketers snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in the last over of the World T20 final, despite a valiant effort at Eden Gardens.

With West Indies needing 19 from the final over, it seemed England had done enough as Ben Stokes bowled to Carlos Brathwaite.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be, with Brathwaite smashing four consecutive sixes.

And just look at what it meant to the West Indies, who become the first side to win the WT20 final twice.

Ah well – at least English sport fans can look forward to their football team strolling to Euro 2016 victory in a couple of months.
