England maintained their 100% record in World Cup qualifying after a routine 2-0 victory over Serbia, courtesy of goals from Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze in either half.
On an evening where a place at the World Cup was already guaranteed, gaffer Thomas Tuchel gave a Wembley debut to Manchester City prodigy Nico O'Reilly at left-back, who didn't at all look out of place.
Serbia offered a threat at times in the second-half in an attempt to mount a comeback towards their slim World Cup qualification hopes, although Pickford remained rarely troubled.
The game remained in the balance despite the Three Lions' seeming comfort, though Eze, off-the-bench, wrapped it up in the final minutes with an emphatic first-time curling finish into the top corner.
In an understated night at Wembley, The Three Lions got the job done.
Pickford - 7
O'Reilly - 7
