Emmanuel Adebayor’s wait for a new club is finally over

He hasn't played a competitive minute since May, but Emmanuel Adebayor is ready to step onto a Premier League pitch once more.

The former Tottenham striker was told to find a new club back in September, but remained on the club's payroll and was remarkably still their highest-paid player despite being unattached. Adebayor's last appearance came in the defeat to Manchester City at the end of last season, but the next chapter of his career will begin with Crystal Palace.
