Eduardo Camavinga’s representatives ‘to meet Man Utd next week’

United have reportedly already held talks with Camavinga's entourage

Manchester United mean business this summer, even if that doesn't necessarily mean they'll actually get all of it done. With Jadon Sancho inching ever closer to Old Trafford - no, really this time - it seems United are eyeing another move for one of European football's most exciting youngster, Eduardo Camavinga. Still only 18, the Rennes midfielder has drawn admiring glances from some of European football's biggest and/or wealthiest names in the last 12 months having already been capped for the French national side. Though plenty of reports have claimed Camavinga is keen to stay in France, with a move to Paris Saint-Germain said to be hie preference, speculation from his homeland has now claimed United are keen to persuade him to make the move to Manchester instead. RMC said last month that United had prioritised a move for Camavinga this summer, having already expressed their interest in the teenager. The same outlet now report United are picking up their pursuit. After already holding talks with the player's entourage, they claim that another meeting is scheduled for this week. The same report adds that PSG remains Camavinga's priority should he leave Rennes this summer. Given that his contract expires in a year, allowing him to move for free, it seems likely he will be on the move in time for the new season. As well as Sancho, United are also thought to be looking to add another central defender to their ranks, with Raphael Varane and Pau Torres both being linked in recent days. Paul Pogba's future at United is still uncertain, with the French international yet to sign an extension to his current deal with the club - due to expire in a year.
