Zinedine Zidane, who returned to Real midway through last season, has long been a keen admirer of Hazard. He will be seen as another important acquisition by Spanish club as they overhaul their squad following a disappointing 2018/19 campaign, in which they surrendered their European crown and finished the LaLiga season in third - 19 points behind champions Barcelona.
This development comes a day after a move Luka Jovic, Eintracht Frankfurt's free-scoring Serbian international, was also agreed.
The 21-year-old scored 27 goals for the Bundesliga side during last season, including against Hazard and his Chelsea side in the Europa League semi-finals.
He moves to the Bernabeu for a reported fee of €65 million before add-ons (around £57.7m) and it's hoped he will help address the lack of goals scored by the club following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus last summer.
