Declan Rice celebrates man of the match performance against Arsenal in pub with West Ham fans

The West Ham player bagged his first senior goal against Arsenal on Saturday

Declan Rice filmed himself in the pub with West Ham fans following his team’s 1-0 home win over Arsenal on Saturday.

The 19-year-old was named man of the match after netting his first goal at senior level which proved the difference between the two London sides and was clearly over the moon about it judging by his social media activity afterwards.

In the aftermath of the victory, Rice filmed himself celebrating the win with Hammers fans in a local pub, uploading the footage to his Instagram account.

He captioned one clip among the fans “What a buzz”, before uploading another video featuring the fans singing goodbye to him, with the caption: “Got to go now ladss… CHEERIOOOOOO.”

The player has quickly become a fan favourite among the east London faithful with his performances this season, with it reported that he has also attracted the attention of top tier clubs such as Manchester United.

The 19-year-old has also yet to decide where his international future lies. He has played three friendlies for the Republic of Ireland and has been approached about representing England, the country of his birth.
