De Gea escapes his Man United torment just long enough to tweet Arsenal’s keeper

He has reportedly hit rock bottom. Moral is desperately low. Yet David de Gea was able to muster just enough will power to congratulate a fellow goalkeeper...

It was a gracious move from the Spaniard to tweet a message of support to his Man United teammate Sergio Romer...oh. Sorry, it wasn't his fellow red whom De Gea was publicly applauding, but rather Arsenal's Petr Cech... https://twitter.com/D_DeGea/status/635901166631694336 The tweet was sent at half-time on Monday evening, during Arsenal's 0-0 stalemate with Liverpool. Cech was resolute for the home side behind a patched defence of Calum Chambers and Gabriel Paulista. Joking aside, it was a nice act of fraternal generosity from De Gea. And it was good to see him use his thumbs for something other than twiddling impatiently in the Old Trafford stands.
