The two were supposed to fight all the way back in 2013 (remember that utterly comical press conference), however, Haye suffered a shoulder injury which essentially plighted the rest of his fighting career before retiring in 2018.
Regardless, it seems for the appetite for that fight has never gone anyway and Haye still believes he could take on 'The Gypsy King' and knock him out, adding: "I know that he knows it, his dad knows it, his uncle knows it."

As you can see, despite admitting that Fury has only got "bigger and better" since their last scheduled meeting, he still insists: "I know his style. I know what he does well. My attributes don't work well for his style. Him and his team know that.
He joked that Fury's team - who we recently spoke to regarding Tyson's possible switch to MMA - "probably think I'm old so they probably will take the fight" but that it doesn't phase him; he insists that he's "looking for the biggest fight out there - and you get no bigger than 6ft 9in Tyson Fury."
He concluded his call out by declaring, "I'm ready to do big things." Will we finally get that fight the better part of a decade later?
