For some people, just meeting David Beckham would be enough, but he went one step beyond for one family.
The former England midfielder is a celebrity in his own right out in the USA, and the Gonzalez family were delighted to see him show up at their front door.
He was there as part of the TV show Knock Knock, which rewards hardworking American families.
It got even better, though, as he handed over a cheque for $100,000 – the average salary for a player in MLS, where Beckham spent six seasons with LA Galaxy.
If that wasn’t enough, he threw in seven iPhones and even went for a back garden kickabout with the family’s children.
Beckham recently became the face of mobile phone company Sprint, for whom he starred in a TV advert.
