"He [McGregor] fought the Chad Mendes fight with a really blown out knee," White explained.

White has undergone similar treatment in the past as he travelled to Germany to get his Meniere's disease treated which is done by removing the platelets from the patient's blood before the blood is re-injected into the affected area.
