Cycling is notorious for being a sport where the odd individual tries to gain an illegal advantage once in a while - but this is ridiculous.

Vincenzo Nibali, three time winner of the Grand Tour, has been disqualified Spain's Vuelta after holding on to his team's car. After earlier being involved in a crash and losing a fair amount of distance on the leaders, footage clearly shows the Italian being given plenty of help to try and make up the lost ground. https://youtu.be/hSQW8OX8VqA Unsurprisingly, Nibali was booted out of the race when news of the footage got round.
