Antoine Griezmann's strike was enough to give Atletico the three points and continue their stellar league record at the Bernabeu. After the game, Cristiano Ronaldo gave a bizarre interview where he insinuated that Real would probably be winning the league if all of his teammates were on his level.
Granted, Ronaldo is a phenomenal athlete and he may technically be correct in his assertion, but it won't do much for team morale or the general atmosphere in the dressing room.
"When you don't have your best players, it is hard to win. If you don't have Karim, Pepe and Bale, it's more complicated. I like to play with Karim, Bale, Marcelo," explained the Portuguese. "If everyone was at my level, maybe we would be leaders."Explore more on these topics:
