The first of those goals was enough for Ronaldo to reach another significant milestone. It was his 50th of 2017 and, incredibly, this is now the seventh straight calendar year in which he's reached this figure, as pointed out by The Mirror. Needless to say, no other footballer has achieved this.
Although Ronaldo still has more football to play before the year is out, it's highly unlikely he'll surpass the 69 goals he scored in 2013. Still, 51 in 57 games isn't too bad, we suppose...
