A procedure at the Madrid centre is set to cost around €4,000

Cristiano Ronaldo may not be short of a few bob but he continues to build a business empire to keep him occupied once he’s finished his playing career.

A hair transplant company co-owned by the Juventus forward is to open a new centre in Madrid on March 18. After starting out in Portugal, Insparya Group is planning to expand internationally with Ronaldo said to be part of a €25 million investment push over the next few years.

What’s more, Spanish publication La Vanguardia believe Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez will be placed in charge of the new centre, where procedures cost around €4,000.

“In addition to football, I am passionate about health, technology and research, they are areas which I wanted to invest in,” he said in a statement before the opening.

“I wanted the first clinic of the international expansion to be situated in Madrid, a city I lived in for many years.”

Ronaldo’s business empire is rapidly growing with this venture adding to a wide-range of CR7 branded merchandise.

If visiting his official museum on the Portuguese island of Madeira – where the forward was born – isn’t quite enough for the CR7 super fan, they can also stay inside one of his hotels in Funchal or Lisbon, owned in association with Pestana Group.

The CR7 logo also adorns a bespoke line of underpants and a pair of Crunch Fitness gyms, both located in Madrid.
