Conor McGregor shocked the MMA world on Tuesday night as he seemingly announced his retirement on Twitter.
What first looked like a joke quickly gained some traction as The Notorious remained silent while Ariel Helwani reported that 'multiple sources had confirmed it'.
With McGregor not clarifying the truth, we turned to his coach, John Kavanagh.
The head of SBG appeared to back up claims that UFC featherweight champion was retiring, but he has been known to pull a prank on fans in the past.
And he was up to his usual tricks as he trolled anyone looking for a straight explanation as to just what the hell was going on. First he posted this on Twitter:
