Fertitta said that number, which McGregor will reach if he continues to dominate the sport, would be from fight earnings, bonuses and pay-per-view revenue and would exclude outside income from the likes of Monster and movie roles which are reportedly in the works.
The Nevada Athletic Commission disclosed that McGregor was paid $500,000 for the fight against Aldo, $40,000 from Reebok and a $50,000 bonus from the UFC for the performance of the night.
