However, after the fight was finished, it appeared as though it McGregor who was hobbling around, as he was spotted on crutches backstage.
It's not clear exactly when the damage was done, but John Kavanagh confirmed on SportsCenter after the fight that the featherweight champion had broken his foot during the five-round war.
