News quickly spread of Dorian's wish and his story soon went viral. Recently, he received a visit from New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Gronk gave Dorian a football signed, “To Dorian, stay strong! #dstrong.”
Dorian's story found its way to UFC president Dana White via Twitter. White is notorious for interacting with his followers and although all that was asked of him was to simply retweet a photo, he decided to go the extra mile to help Dorian.

After being informed that Dorian lives is a native of Rhode Island, White offered to help him achieve his dream of becoming famous by putting him on TV during the UFC Fight Night 91 card, headlined by the bantamweight title clash between TJ Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz.
