The football world is still coming to terms with the tragic loss suffered by Chapecoense on Tuesday.
The Brazilian club were on their way to the Colombian city of Medellin for the first leg of Copa Sudamericana final when the aeroplane on which they were travelling crashed, killing 71 of the 77 players, staff, journalists and crew on board.
As football supporters from around the globe continue to pay their respects to the team, Classic Football Shirts have announced that they will be selling some of Chapecoense’s shirts – with all money raised from their sale going to the club.

Having sent out the above tweet, the company added that they only had four of the shirts but confirmed that they intended to add to the money raised by their sale, too.

With a huge response to their original tweet, the company have since indicated that they may now auction the shirts in a bid to raise as much money for the club as possible.

Three days of mourning have been declared by the Brazilian government following the crash, while Atletico Nacional, the club that were due to face Chapecoense in the Sudamericana final, have asked that the title be handed to the Santa Catarina-based club as a mark of respect.
