Christian Eriksen shocked the world after his cardiac arrest during the Euros game. Fans and colleagues alike were devasted by the news, but the entire football community rallied around him in support. However, Eriksen has now released another statement that reiterates his love for his team.
Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest during the game and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Doctors report that the star players first words were"
"'Yes, I am back with you. For f***s sake, I'm only 29 years old."
The Danish team's Doctor released an updated statement that illustrated their plans to help Eriksen make a full recovery:
"After Christian has been through different heart examinations it has been decided that he should have an ICD.
'This device is necessary after a cardiac attack due to rhythm disturbances.
"Christian has accepted the solution and the plan has moreover been confirmed by specialists nationally and internationally who all recommend the same treatment.
"We encourage everybody to give Christian and his family peace and privacy in the following time."
