Chelsea have received a bid from AS Monaco to take Michy Batshuayi on loan for the remainder of the season after the striker had his loan spell at Valencia cut short.

The Belgium international has struggled to find himself a home since joining Chelsea, despite a successful loan spell at Borussia Dortmund during the latter stages of last season.
He was in and out of the side at Valencia, and evidently he's not fancied by new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri. It now looks likely that he'll reunite with former Belgium assistant coach Thierry Henry at Monaco, who are fighting to avoid relegation in Ligue 1.
According to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, Batshuayi and Monaco both want the move to go through, with just Chelsea left to give it the green light. The offer on the table does not include an option to buy at the end of the season.
Should the transfer go through, Batshuayi will not only be reuniting with Henry, but also two of his Belgium teammates: Youri Tielemans and Nacer Chadli.
After their side that reached the Champions League semi-finals was stripped down to the bone, Monaco are a shadow of the team they once were under Leonardo Jardim.
They now find themselves in 19th place, just two points above Guingamp, and desperately need a goalscorer to help Radamel Falcao get them out of trouble.
That man could be Michy Batshuayi.
