Chelsea are said to have forgot to wear black armbands for the first-half of their FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal at Wembley on Saturday.
Chelsea players, along with the rest of the capacity crowd at the national stadium, impeccably observed a minute's silence just before the final, in memory of those tragically lost in the Manchester attacks earlier this week.
Yet, the Premier League champions played the opening 45 minutes without the black armbands. They were reportedly placed under Chelsea's jackets for the game in the dressing room.

However, the team decided against wearing the jackets, as it was so warm in the stadium, and thus forgot to wear the armbands for the first half.
According to BBC presenter Dan Walker, Chelsea's mishap was "completely accidental."

But some on social media weren't buying the perfectly reasonable explanation, despite Chelsea emerging for the second half with the black armbands.
