Chelsea have paid tribute to SBTV founder
Jamal Edwards after his tragic passing aged just 31.
Posting to their social media accounts, the club wrote: "We're deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jamal Edwards. An inspiration to many, we're honoured that he was part of our Chelsea family."

Edwards was a huge Chelsea fan throughout his life, born in Luton and growing up in Acton, West London. The 31-year-old received his MBE when he was just 23-years-old.
His mother, Brenda issued a statement announced on
Good Morning Britain confirming that the cause of death was "sudden illness", though further details of the exact nature are yet to be confirmed.

A number of players throughout the UK took to Twitter to share their memories of the young YouTube entrepreneur, who launched so many careers in the British music industry.
One of those who paid tribute was Trevor Chalobah, the young Chelsea defender who Edwards interviewed in October 2021 for Black History Month.
