At 36, Terry's playing time at Stamford Bridge has been limited to a handful of cameo appearances this season and the defender insists he is "eager to carry on playing and so will be looking to continue with a new challenge," once this campaign finishes.
Several Premier League clubs are said to be in the running for Terry's signature but while the centre-half decides on his future, with his legacy already cemented, his contribution to the game as one of England's greatest ever defenders is being praised by all corners of the footballing community.

Drogba and Terry won four Premier Leagues, the Champions League, three FA Cups and three League Cups together and the Ivorian's stunning description of his experience with Terry as a captain will have Chelsea fans reaching for the tissues.
