Charlie Austin could be in trouble for this incident with the Huddersfield goalkeeper
This doesn't look good.
Charlie Austin could be in disciplinary trouble following an incident in Saturday's Premier League match between Southampton and Huddersfield Town. Austin scored for the Saints in the 1-1 draw at St Mary's, his fifth goal in his last seven league games, but was arguably fortunate to remain on the pitch a few minutes after that first-half strike.
The former QPR striker failed to reach a through ball, and appeared to leave his right boot in on Jonas Lössl, the Huddersfield goalkeeper who had claimed the ball before Austin reached him.
Lössl was left with a nasty cut to his nose and needed stitches, but played on for the rest of the game. Austin wasn't even shown a yellow card, and protested his innocence.
