Ronaldo returns to Old Trafford as groups are drawn for 18/19 Champions League

It's finally happening Manchester United fans, Ronaldo is coming home

All your campaigning and your petitions and your posts to him on social media have worked: Cristiano Ronaldo is coming back to Old Trafford..... as a Juventus player. That is because Jose Mourinho's side have been drawn alongside the Italians in Group H of this year's UEFA Champions League, as well as La Liga side Valencia and Young Boys of Bern. The group will likely be a difficult one for United to emerge from, though they will be expected to finish second to Juventus ahead of a resurgent Valencia. Liverpool find themselves in a top group against French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli, as well as Red Star Belgrade, while Tottenham Hotspur also face a very tough group against Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan. Manchester City have likely the easiest group of all the English sides, on the surface at least, with Shakhtar Donetsk, Olympiqye Lyonnais and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim alongside them. Elsewhere, Real Madrid will be looking to retain the trophy again this year. If they do so they will be the first side to be drawn in Group G and win the competition since AC Milan in 2003.
