The yellow card received by Griffiths was one of five received by Celtic during the game - enough for them to be charged with 'improper conduct of the team' by European football's governing body.
Linfield's charges relate to the 'throwing of objects' by their supporters and also a pitch invasion.
After the game had finished, Griffiths tied a Celtic scarf around one of the goalposts, an action that angered Linfield supporters, causing some of them to attempt to get on to the pitch.
The two sides are set to meet again this Wednesday in Glasgow.
