David Beckham. Few people have captivated the nation in the past quite like this man has.
A footballer who, along with being one of the most gifted English players to have ever graced the game, also transcended the world of celebrity.
And whether it was his red card in 1998, his free kick in 2001, his penalty in 2002 or the quarter final heartbreak of 2006, he always took us on an emotional rollercoaster.
Now, Netflix have released a four-part documentary looking at the career and life of one of the most recognisable faces
The series, which is imaginatively called ‘Beckham‘, arrived on the platform earlier this week. Directed by Academy Award–winning director Fisher Stevens, it gives viewers never-before-seen insights into the former footballer and his life.
The doc includes contributions from his family, friends, teammates, and looks at the life of one of the most famous British sportsmen ever.
