If the tension wasn't already high enough during a frantic North London Derby, fans of both clubs went into full panic mode in the closing stages.

That's because the feed from broadcasters BT Sport cut out in the dying embers of the game, with the match delicately poised at 2-2. https://twitter.com/andrewsduncan1/status/706127196654608385

Many will be thankful no one missed any of the main goalmouth action action, though anyone biting their nails could be forgiven for chewing right through the tips of their fingers when the sight of White Hart Lane was replaced by this, albeit without the added snark.

Plenty of viewers cracked wise.

BT Sport are by no means the first to cut out late in a game, and many recalled ITV suffering similar problems in a Merseyside Derby not too long ago.

Of course, some were happy to look on the bright side. After all, it's only a Premier League clash between two top-four sides. It's not the real big one.
